(TMJ) Temporomandibular Joint dysfunction is a condition that causes inflammation to the jaw and surrounding areas.  Max Well Physical Therapy & Massage has an individualized therapy program that focuses on resolving patient's pain, reducing inflammation and restoring function to the jaw.  Patients will have a comprehensive evaluation of the head, face, and neck area.  Our therapists educate the patients on TMJ and how it maybe associated with stress or work place.

A treatment plan may consist of head and neck stretches to relieve tighten muscle; an exercise program to strengthen muscle for better jaw support and alignment; and massage to head, neck, and shoulders to reduce pain.  Max Well Therapy will work closely with your dentist or physician to refine a program that gets results and the long-term relief you need.
