1. How do I book online?

2. What can I expect from my first visit to Max Well Therapy?
During your first visit to Max Well Therapy, you will meet with a Licensed Therapist. Your therapist will conduct different assessments to determine the best plan designed specifically for you. Depending on the situation, you may be started on your treatment plan at your first visit.
3. Will my therapy program cause me any pain or discomfort?
If during your session your pain or discomfort from your injury increases, please notify your therapist immediately so appropriate changes can be made to your program. Your individualized program SHOULD NOT have any long lasting pain or discomfort.
4. How long should I expect my sessions to last?
Your initial session with your therapist will be about 60 minutes. Each standard visit will last approximately 30-60 minutes depending on your diagnosis and treatment plan.
5. How frequently should I expect to attend Therapy and for how long?
Various factors are taken into account including doctor’s recommendation, diagnosis, and compliance with your home program. Typically, you will attend 2 - 3 times a week. After working with you, you will be reevaluated to determine if additional therapy is needed.
6. What do I need to bring with me for my visits?
Physical Therapy: please wear comfortable clothing that will allow you to expose your injured area. Your clothing should allow you to move freely. Tennis shoes, and athletic clothing are preferred.
Occupational Therapy: please wear comfortable clothing that will allow you to expose your injured area. Your clothing should allow you to move freely. Tennis shoes, and athletic clothing are preferred.
Speech Therapy: please wear comfortable clothing.
Massage Therapy: your therapist will address this when they bring you back to your room, but wear comfortable clothing as you would for other therapy appointments.
Laser Therapy: please wear comfortable clothing that will allow you to expose your injured area. Your clothing should allow you to move freely.
7. Do I need a physician’s prescription to attend therapy?
Physical Therapy: A recent state law (“Direct Access”) has made it possible for a person to attend physical therapy for 21 days or 10 standard visits without a doctor’s prescription. This can vary depending on your type of insurance, we will be happy to help you determine what your plan allows.
Occupational Therapy: Depending on your insurance, we recommend getting a prescription for Occupational Therapy.
Speech Therapy: Depending on your insurance, we recommend getting a prescription for Speech Therapy.
8. What insurance companies do you provide for?
We are providers for most health insurance plans. Please call the office for more information about insurance coverage. We would be happy to check on your individual coverage.
9. What if Max Well Therapy does not accept my insurance?
If we do not accept your insurance, you can pay privately. In that case, we can customize a payment plan for you. We also accept Care Credit to those who are approved. For more details please call our office.
10. Do I need a referral to attend therapy?
Our office will let you know if a referral is needed. If you would like your insurance to cover, you will need a referral.
11. I work during the day. Do you have flexible hours in the evenings?
Our locations are open from 8:00 A.M. to 7 P.M. Monday through Friday. As you schedule your initial visit, the receptionist will ask your availability.
12. How do I get started?
Contact our office and we will help you with the appropriate steps necessary to begin Therapy. Once your appointment is set, please arrive fifteen minutes prior to your appointment to complete the necessary paperwork. Please remember to bring your Prescription, Photo ID, and Insurance Card.
